The neighborhood kids “hung out” at the Trapp’s. We all had a blast and were always welcome with open arms. Everything we did at the house was fun and always involved the Trapp children and their visitors. I especially remember our “trips” in the car. I particularly enjoyed the times we went cruisin’ and “busted” couples making out on lover’s lane. It was a blast!

Dear Don & Family - We are praying that the strength of your family’s faith sustains you through the loss of one of God's truly blessed children… Whenever we think of Patti the first word that comes to mind is "spiritual". The joy she derived from the simplest things always amazed us all. Whether it be tending her beautiful flowers, making those delicious brownies & cookies for anyone, or her devotion to prayer. First and foremost was her faith, and her passion in sharing it with everyone she met! I have so many great memories of Aunt Patty. When we were little we travel from Sharon to Presque Isle and spend the day at the beach. We would stop at papa's house (Patty's dad) and he would dry our hair with a towel. I mean rub our little heads until our hair was bone dry! He always ate black licorice and Aunt Patty would tell us where his "stash" was so we could raid it. He also had those pink candies that looked and tasted like pepto bismal. When I moved back to Tampa and Quinn was just a baby, Patty, Uncle Don, Kevin, my mom, Carol and my sister, Julie, came down for a visit. We laughed so hard, went to see Uncle John and Aunt Judy, what a party! Patty had a candy stash and thus the nickname "Gramma Goody"! Aunt Patty was always so kind and loving and so close to our Lord, Jesus, I know she is in a better place, but I will never forget how good she made me feel. Prayers for Uncle Don and all of the Trapp family.

Dear family, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I know you will miss your loved one very much. I have found much comfort from scriptures like the one in Revelation 21:3,4 which speaks of a time when death will be no more. I always wondered why god allows suffering and death. I found the answer in the bible and would love to share it with you when you are feeling up to it! It promises a time when we will see our loved ones again and be reunited with them in good health and peaceful conditions..... The way God originally wanted this earth to be in the beginning.....
