I moved out to San Diego in 2007. I was lucky enough to be neighbors with Justin and Jeremy. They were two coolest and interesting people I have met. We all quickly became fast friends. One story of Jeremy I will always remember was when a couple of my friends came home to find Jeremy and two other older gentlemen that we were unfamiliar with. Us being friends we were suprised to see two people we had not seen previously. The men were not dressed that particularly well and Jeremy started acting wierd so we were unsure as to what was up. After the men left Jeremy confessed that they were two homeless men that he met on the street and he thought they could use a homecooked meal. That is the type of man jeremy is, a man who is kind, consderate and generous. Who did more than the bare-minimum and actual gave his time and energy to these people. I'll never forget that story, nor the man that made it happen. Much Love to the Quezada family.

My little bambam you and Krystal were only a few months apart and she was always bigger for her age as well as you. I use to call you both pebles and bam bam. Your smile was like the sun...and your brother Justin is also blessed with the beautiful smile that shined your beautiful face. Julio, Chris, Justin, Scott and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Jeremy was a great friend and it was an honor be his friend over the last 20 years and I have so many great memories. When I was assaulted 3 years ago and broke my leg, Jeremy took the time so send me one of the most thoughtful and reassuring notes I have ever read, and it helped me so much to get me through what was the most difficult time of my life. One of my favorite sayings is "those who stand by you when you're at your worst are your true friends," and I think that explains him well. You are all wonderful people just like Jeremy and we will make sure his memories live on.

I will always have fond memories of Jer and keep them close to my heart. He was a great spirit and an inspiration to many. When their family home had caught on fire, him and his family moved into our apartments. There were a group of us that were always together. He would drop everything to provide a helping hand, whether he was checking our apartment after a friend and I watched a scary movie to make sure no one was in there or playing the guitar for us with Corey. I attended Mercyhurst's Homecoming with him and had the best time in the company of a great friend. He will forever be missed and loved. My thoughts go out to his family during this time. Jeremy planned and performed all the music for my wedding in July. As we were preparing for the wedding, as the bride I was starting to worry that things would not be perfect. I was fretting over the beach setting and if people would be able to hear the vows and music. Jeremy just simply said “I got it; don’t worry”. With these words, he took away a lot of the anxiety I was feeling and I knew things were going to be perfect. After the ceremony, I had a number of friends who didn't know Jeremy comment that the music was awesome, and that his music really made it special. He did not ask for anything in return for this wonderful gift he had given us. We are so blessed that he shared his talent with us. I will always cherish those memories of him and be forever thankful for his spirit.

I attended St. George and Mercyhurst with Jeremy and am so shocked and saddened to learn of his passing. He had a beautiful spirit and an infectious smile. I would like to take this time to honor the life of Jeremy. I was only an aquaitance, but he was in my homeroom for four years during our class.. and his locker a few doors down. No matter who who were, what your differences were- Jeremy greeted you with a smile from ear to ear, even if he wasn't very close to you. That says the most about him- that really he did have a beautiful spirit... My thought, prayers, and anything ever are with your family during your extreme time of need. Some people can never live up to having been called 'a beautiful soul' Jeremy exceeded that.. and that's from someone who didn't know him very well. May your wonderful blessings of having him in your life comfort you at night when times are rough- all my love, peace, and condolence are in effect. And on a side note, It's a personal mission to live my life even better to know it can be taken so soon, Jeremy is a wonderful example of a human being, and I can't speak for everyone, but I wish I could have been more like him .... All my love! I know this doesn't help but I will make it a personal mission to live more like Jeremy- more loving, more intuitive and definately more peaceful. To prepare for a no pay gig Jeremy road his bike to my house several times with his guitar on his back. We laughed and talked as we created a beautiful set of music. He was so talented and so generous and patient as an accompaniest. He even intertwined Peggy Lee's Fever with Van Morrison's Moondance, every "girl singers" dream. The show was at a coffee house for recovering addicts and alcoholics. He had no judgement or assumptions. He was just happy to help and share his music. Soar Jeremy.
